A Flagship Programme of VIDYA

Write for Right India

A national initiative to help people, and especially children, learn to write, write with purpose, and see their writing published.

What is Write for Right India?

Write for Right India is VIDYA's flagship writing initiative — a programme built to give people a genuine, structured route from writing to publication. Its first focus is the Children's Anthology, a national platform inviting children to share their thoughts, imagination and stories through writing.

Why Writing Matters

Writing gives shape to thought. It helps children and adults alike develop confidence, clarity and empathy — and it gives ideas a way to travel beyond the person who first had them. Write for Right India exists because every voice deserves that chance.

Who Can Participate

The Children's Anthology is open to children within the eligibility criteria published on the Children's Anthology page. Schools, teachers and parents can all play a part in helping children take part — see the Submission Guidelines for how each group can get involved.

Details below will be confirmed as the programme is finalised
