Who can participate?
Write for Right India's Children's Anthology is open to children within the eligibility criteria published on the Children's Anthology page. Schools, teachers and parents are welcome to help children take part.
What age groups are eligible?
To be announced. The confirmed age groups will be published on the Children's Anthology and Submission Guidelines pages.
Can children submit directly?
The submission process, including whether a parent, guardian or school is involved, will be set out in full in the Submission Guidelines.
Can schools submit entries?
Schools will be able to support and facilitate entries from their students. Full details will appear in the Submission Guidelines.
What languages are accepted?

What types of writing are accepted?

Can a child submit more than one entry?
The policy on multiple entries will be confirmed in the Submission Guidelines.
Is there a submission fee?

How are entries selected?
Entries are screened for eligibility and then reviewed by VIDYA's editorial team. Selection criteria will be published alongside the Submission Guidelines.
Will selected entries be edited?
Selected entries may be edited for clarity, length or publication standards, in consultation with the contributor wherever practical.
Will selected children be published?
Selected entries are intended for publication in the Children's Anthology, subject to the programme's final editorial and production process.
Will children receive certificates?

Who owns copyright?
Copyright and editorial rights will be set out clearly in the Submission Guidelines before any entry is submitted.
What consent is required?
Parent or guardian consent will be required for entries from minors, as set out in the Submission Guidelines and the Child Safety Policy.
How will children's personal information be handled?
Any personal information collected will be handled in line with VIDYA's Privacy Policy and Child Safety Policy, with the child's welfare and privacy as the first priority.
